Osteoporosis Class
This 60-min class is geared to those with osteoporosis and related conditions. Includes low impact aerobic exercise designed to raise the heart rate and improve balance, strength training exercises to build upper and lower body strength and target the abdominal muscles. This class also includes yoga based stretching to improve flexibility. The class utilizes hand weights, therabands, and physioballs. Good for improving balance and provides weight bearing exercise for managing osteoporosis. Variations will be shown for those with back, neck, &/or other joint sensitivities. All equipment is provided by the instructor.
Meets Mondays and Wednesdays 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
